Joan Of Arc Documentary & New Album
Noisey and Vice just released a new documentary, Your War I’m One Of You: 20 Years of Joan Of Arc. “Joan of Arc have long been one of indie rock's most influential, divisive, and enduring bands and in this brand new Noisey doc, they headed to Chicago to spend some time with lead singer Tim Kinsella.” Watch the documentary here.
The band also published a Spotify playlist encompassing a selection of the music used in the documentary.
The doc was released on the heels of the new Joan Of Arc album He’s Got The Whole This Land Is Your Land In His Hands, out now. You can order the record via Joyful Noise. The band is currently on tour supporting the record, full list of dates here.
Diet Cig announce album & tour
Excited to announce Diet Cig has signed with Frenchkiss Records and will be releasing their DEBUT album Swear I’m Good At This April 7. Listen to the first single “Tummy Ache” and read more about the album and song on Consequence Of Sound. Album pre-orders and bundles available here.

Islands Announce Return to the Sea 10th Anniversary Reissue
Islands is celebrating the release of their seminal debut album Return to the Sea, released 10 years ago, with an anniversary reissue due on November 11. In support of the reissue, Islands has announced NYC and LA shows where the album will be played in full, featuring a string section and special guests from the album's heyday. Tickets for the NYC and Los Angeles shows are available now. Return to the Sea, available to pre-order now at Bandcamp, has been given a light but firm remaster on all formats; pressed to 2x180 gram vinyl at 45rpm, it has never sounded better.
Also, after releasing not one but two albums, Taste and Should I Remain Here At Sea?, on the same day earlier this year, Islands are hitting the road for their second major tour of 2016. The tour will be supported by Alex Cameron and Steady Holiday and the full routing can be found here.

The Album Leaf tour in support of new LP Between Waves
The Album Leaf’s sixth full length record Between Waves is out today via Relapse Records! You can order at Relapse now or get it digitally from iTunes or Amazon. NPR recently streamed the record in advance of the release; to learn more about the album and the band’s history, check out that feature.

S U R V I V E debut new single & announce US tour
Austin experimental synth quartet S U R V I V E have announced they are preparing to release their second full-length record, RR7349, this September on Relapse Records. The band had previously shared the record’s lead single “A.H.B.,” listen to it on Pitchfork, and have now debuted another new song from the album called “Wardenclyffe” available on NPR’s Songs We Love. Album pre-orders are available now via Relapse.
